Yahuwah Bible

with the original hebrew names

Preface

One of the most significant milestones of both the Reformation and the present age is the restoration of the Names as they were originally revealed. This work is one of the very few of its kind completed in English. Our aim is not only to restore the Eternal’s Name, but also to recover the original names of all biblical people, feasts and places—whether their role in Scripture is positive, hostile, or neutral. In line with this, we have returned to the ancient pronunciation of YHWH: Yahuwah.

As I explained in my writing and video, “The Names of the Eternal,” it is neither proper nor customary to arbitrarily rename a mortal human being—much less to substitute their name with one of pagan or demonic origin, such as Zeus or Ishtar. How much more should this be true for the Almighty, the Creator, the Redeemer—in short, the Eternal Elohim!

Our translation is based on the World English Bible (WEB) for several reasons.

First, in many respects it stands closer to the original Hebrew texts than most other modern editions.
Second, it avoids archaic language and outdated verb forms (like -eth or -est) that can distance today’s reader from the living Word of Elohim.

We have completed this work to the best of our knowledge and with great care. Even so, there may remain occasional inaccuracies or names that could be refined further. We gladly welcome constructive feedback and corrections, since we do not regard this translation as final, flawless, or unchangeable.

This project is being developed in at least three languages simultaneously. In rendering the names, we followed internationally recognized conventions: just as the first consonant of the Eternal’s Name is written with a “Y” rather than a “J,” so too do the Names of our Messiah remain unchanged in the English text, without adaptation.

We invite you to read with a spirit of openness and reverence. May this work lead you to deeper blessing and true reformation—that is, sanctification.
