The ransom

Then Yahuwah said to Moses, “When you take a census of the Israelites to count them, each one must pay Yahuwah a ransom for his life … Each one who crosses over to those already counted is to give a half shekel, according to the sanctuary shekel … All who cross over, those twenty years old or more, are to give an offering to Yahuwah. The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to Yahuwah to atone for your lives. Receive the atonement money from the Israelites and use it for the service of the tent of meeting. It will be a memorial for the Israelites before Yahuwah, making atonement for your lives.” Exodus 30:11-16

The pillars of the Tabernacle have a silver base. The Messiah’s Body rests upon the foundation of salvation, so that all the ministries carried out alongside the High Priest can only be done by to those who paid their ransom in silver.
Men over twenty years old had to put this sum on the altar of Yahuwah to finance the construction of the Tabernacle. It was a universal sum, the rich could not give more and the poor could not pay less. Everyone possessed at least this amount of money, the symbol of ourselves, our person whom we have received from above free of charge and that it is necessary to put back on the altar in order to make it function properly.

This symbolic act is nothing but the prototype of repentance, when one makes the decision to return to Yahuwah so that our life and our destiny are no longer in our hands, but in His’. We put ourselves on the Altar and under the Rule of Yahushua HaMashiah so that a new life begins in us.

This law, in our time, in the Body of the Messiah, also applies to the high priest. It is Yahushua’s job to collect the half-shekel of silver that the people bring to him, so that they can serve him. This silver coin, which symbolizes the consecration of our own life through the acceptance of the Blood of the Lamb, is a basic starting capital that has been given to everyone. Men over twenty years old, that is, any mentally mature man or woman who can responsibly make the decision to place their life in the hands of the one who personally created them.

Christian golden calves

In what follows, we will make the link between the idolatry of the golden calf, the sin into which the people freshly out of Egypt fell, and which is one of the key events of the Torah portion of the week. Parashat Ki Tisa does contain some commandments that are able to lift the veil on certain contemporary golden calves often present in the Body of the Messiah.

Anointing with oil

Then Yahuwah said to Moses, “Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels of liquid myrrh, half as much (that is, 250 shekels) of fragrant cinnamon, 250 shekels of fragrant calamus, 500 shekels of cassia—all according to the sanctuary shekel—and a hin of olive oil. Make these into a sacred anointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer. It will be the sacred anointing oil. Then use it to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law, the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense, the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand. You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy. “Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so they may serve me as priests. Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come. Do not pour it on anyone else’s body and do not make any other oil using the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred. Whoever makes perfume like it and puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off from their people. Exodus 30:22-33

Ministries, ministry gifts, and all activity that takes place in the Body of Messiah can only be accomplished through the leading and anointing of Ruach HaKodesh, according to the will of Elohim. The High Priest Yahushua is the only one who has the right to anoint anyone for his own ministry, so that his body, the Church, may be strengthened. Anyone who tries to use the Holy Spirit for their own benefit, for their own human ministry, for their own small or medium-sized “businesses” called churches with all kinds of denominations, is making a huge mistake.

Those who are involved in this kind of deception must come out of these places. Those who see them should depart from these. We must ask for the discernment of Ruach HaKodesh, to be able to recognize these falsifications, in order to avoid them, leave them and cease all communion with them. However, we must

turn away from sin without abandoning the sinner.

And if someone is charged with delivering this message by the anointing of Yahushua, then we must return to these assemblies and churches, meet with their managers and leaders, in order to accomplish our apostolic mission of restoration with patience and love. This type of mission generally does not last for long. The envoy is usually dismissed very quickly, as is the fate of practically all prophets who deliver a message of warning or judgment. For our part, let us be vigilant and ask Elohim to protect us from sorrow and bitterness overtaking us in such situations, something which would only lead us to legalism and a lack of love towards sinners. These characteristics of which we are precisely accused of when we announce the Word of Elohim to these people. Those who are affected by our message usually tell us that we are legalistic and hateful, that we lack love and patience towards others. Let us not let these slanders act as a curse on us, because rejection by the lawless ones often and precisely generates these two feelings. Let us ask to be able to remain firm while keeping the heart of a child.

Sacrifice of good smell

Then Yahuwah said to Moses, “Take fragrant spices—gum resin, onycha and galbanum—and pure frankincense, all in equal amounts, and make a fragrant blend of incense, the work of a perfumer. It is to be salted and pure and sacred. Grind some of it to powder and place it in front of the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you. Do not make any incense with this formula for yourselves; consider it holy to Yahuwah. Whoever makes incense like it to enjoy its fragrance must be cut off from their people.” Exodus 30:34-38

What does this law teach us today and how does it apply in these times of Grace?

Like the previous law: the fragrant sacrifice – our prayers and our praises – cannot serve our own interests either. They are not intended to get spiritually drunk and daze ourselves, to shine our own glory, or to display our fantastic voices and gifts as musicians, nor even to recruit people into the church.

We must understand one thing: life does not begin with praise, but with deliverance from the state of death through the gift of Life. Praise is none other than the crown of the Gospel and not its foundation. Don’t play music to the ears of dead people, because that’s not what they need, it’s not what interests them, and they won’t be able to hear what you already can hear from it anyway. Praise is a consequence of the joy felt following the gift of new life and not a tool to make people forget the state of death in which they are.

Praise in churches is often exaggerated, during too long, the band members are too prominent and their faces reflect more the spirit of Lennon than that of Christ.

It would almost be better to turn our radios back on and listen to our good old hits instead. Given that the spirit is the same, let us instead listen to something of better quality, both from the point of view of composition and interpretation. Because this world’s celebrities do at least not cultivate their art by hiding behind the name of the Messiah, in order to trample on him.

And often, after an hour or an hour and a half of this kind of christian musical performance, the intoxicated voice of the pastor or one of the cantors rises who can find nothing better to say than: “when “god” hears this kind of praise, the doors of Paradise are opened. Meanwhile, it’s rather your head that seems to have split open from the migraine you caught from it.

The consequence of all this, according to which we must cut these things off, no longer applies – and not yet – on the physical level. I indeed said no longer and not yet again, because living in the times of Grace, the time of Judgment and extermination has been suspended until the return of the Messiah.

Because when Yahushua returns, the period of Mercy will expire and the judgment of the Law will once again be applied on the physical realm as well.

Until then, this cutting off the people takes place on a spiritual level. This means: Do not take part in it, do not do it, turn away from it, and after warning those who practice these things, turn away from sinners also if they refuse to listen to you. Exterminate this type of religious practice from your spiritual life.

And after shaking off the dust from your feet, do not despair and do not be afraid to visibly remain alone. Because the lawless ones seem to be in majority and we often have the feeling of being left alone. Let this not dissuade you from doing what is in your heart and do not rebel against the voice of Ruach HaKodesh when he gives you vision and discernment. Many of us have taken the step and Ruach brought us together according to his will and when the time comes. We don’t have to feel alone. The superficiality of the rebels, on the other hand, will become more and more evident to those who persist in these things, as their ministries gradually disappear and become empty of their spiritual content.

Thanks to what I for my part would call recruitment campaigns, but which are falsely called street evangelizations with praise and music, these people still manage to persuade one or two “music lovers” to go attend their concerts in their churches and assemblies. Perhaps from time to time they even manage to dip some of those in their pools as a baptism, but spiritual gifts (like healing, casting out of demons, gift of the Holy Spirit and pursuit of Sanctification), as well as the fruits of the Spirit (which are charity, love, kindness, respect and humility towards Elohim and our neighbor, the functioning of the law in the hearts or people in a word) have long since been largely forgotten and are nothing more than old memories. The book of the Acts of the Apostles has itself been relegated to the status of a simple “biblical fairy tale” by many Christians.

This is when the process of slow death and extinction begins, a sign that Ruach HaKodesh is gradually withdrawing from them as conscious rebellion increases. Because many are those who have taken over from the hands of the High Priest Yahushua, the functioning of the communities and the individuals who compose them.

And in their blindness, these people believe that they continue to see and feel the presence and operation of the Spirit of Messiah in their communities. Through the joy they feel in these moments, through the human relations the members experience despite being very superficial most of the time, through the sight of all the material fruits that are gathered through the continued extortion of donations and tithes, they see in these things the blessing and fulfillment of the promises of Elohim.

They confuse the maintenance of order carried out in a human way and because they are numerous with the blessing which comes from above and which are the fruit of humility and obedience.

Their attention should, however, be urgently drawn to the fact that if all this were a sign that they were moving on the right path, then it would be none other than the Roman Catholic Church itself which should be considered as the most humble and submissive company in the world. Because it is in fact in the Catholic Church that we find the most music, cantors, instruments, money, power and members, the gospel of prosperity par excellence in short. But the problem with them also, for almost two thousand years, is that the Holy Spirit only comes out as a word from their mouths, but they have never had anything to do with Ruach HaKodesh. Even the small vaticans – the so called protestant churches – must come to recognize once again that the spirit of prosperity is the spirit of the antichrist and not the other way around, so that they can finally stop deceiving themselves and return to the model of the original Church before this period of Grace previously mentioned finally comes to its end.
